Crusades 2.0


We are very glad with the feedback and popularity that Crusades have! We have improved some concepts to make Crusades more fun, rewarding and challenging at the same time, all based on your feedback and suggestions.


Player's feedback


"I keep going back and forward when I lose." "I lost at the first world and now I have to wait 2 days..."

We added 3 different scenarios!

Fail to pass world 1 ➡️ Crusade drops 3 levels

Fail to pass world 2 ➡️ Crusade drops 2 levels

Fail to clear world 3 ➡️ Crusade drops 1 level

If you fail, you will have a more enjoyable time in the next Crusades (and more Crusade coins).


"If the game crashes or disconnects, my whole team dies." "My main heroes got defeated, but I want to continue playing!"

Extra life is for the players who want to push forward or if you want to try a different team composition The item costs 25 flooz and it can be stacked for future crusades.

The cost doesn't increase and there is no cap.

To use it, check your bag and tap a hero!


"Some artifacts are too strong, I clear the crusade easily and at the next level I can't pass world 1."

Artifacts are now multiplicative ➡️ Wind Shell and Hero dagger were also changed accordingly.


⭐A new stats screen will show up when a crusade ends. All the relevant information is there! Sharing this screen with your guild mates or anyone will provide a quick view of your performance.

Notice that artifacts have a different aura depending of the rarity and that you can tap and scroll right to see them all.


You can buy Rune dust at the Crusade Shop!

To incentivize players to get more crusade coins, we added rune dust which always comes handy.


Shelly and Monki Merry are now Mercenaries!

Find them at the Crusade Hero Chests and see their potential in battle.

Disclaimer: mercenaries only join your your roster for the duration of the crusade.



⭐The new artifacts stat screen is inside the bag. It will help you get a better understanding and plan which artifacts / mercenaries you will pick up next.


Improved artifact selection: added a "select" button / screen for confirmation (you can double tap).


New hero: Tan Suu

The great race



The Jade Emperor invited the entire animal kingdom to partake in a tremendous race! 
The first 12 animals able to cross the river, would be assigned to a year of the Chinese zodiac system in order of appearance.

All the animals were very excited and the news spread rapidly.
The rat (Ser Shû) convinced the Ox (Tan Suu) that with his marvelous sight and Ox's strength they would be a winning team!
Ser Shû hopped on Tan Suu's back and together they dominated the race.

Close to the finish line, Ser Shû jumped ahead and was named the first animal of the Chinese zodiac, followed by Tan Suu, who came in second.



Tan Suu joins Crush Them All to team-up once more with Ser Shû, reinforcing the light faction and protecting anyone who stands by his side.

Super gifts

As a reward for the players who login daily, we added a daily gift with random rewards!



New flying chest

While you stage, flying chests will spawn. This chest replaces the gold video ad at the shop.

It gives 20 minutes worth of gold.

  • This chest doesn't affect the spawn rate of gold/wooden chests.

  • It counts as a chest for the guild quest and daily challenges.

  • It will spawn every 15 minutes if clicked (extra 96 chests daily possible).

  • It can't spawn on the same stage as a wooden or gold chest.


PvP improvements


  1. Tan Suu has a powerful defensive kit that will increase the duration of the battles, so we decided to increase the Arena, Blitz and Guild War Battles duration to 4 minutes long.

  2. HP auras now scale with the 10x HP PvP multiplier! To prevent them from being too powerful, we divided all HP auras by 4. In other words, HP auras are 2.5x stronger in PvP (Guild Wars, Crusade, Arena and Blitz)

  3. Heroes Balance There will be a fair bit of range increases for mid-game heroes. This is to increase their user friendliness. Many of them already have relatively competitive stats, but require too much investment in terms of runes to be put to use. With the following changes we should see more variety in the mid game meta.



Heroes Balance


Fire Monk

  • Atk Range = 450 -> 510

  • Crit Rate = 10 -> 20%

  • Mid game option who lacked the range and damage to be used currently.

Kasai

  • Movespeed = 170 -> 150

  • Atk Range = 150 -> 170

  • Less movespeed so he doesn't pass your tanks, and more range so he can stay behind them more easily

Mecha Valken

  • HP = 330 -> 360

  • Needs more health to soak AoE damage.


Torch

  • SP1 = Add burn effect

  • SP2 = Allow it to hit flyers and increase damage to 6x damage over 6 seconds

  • HP = 260 -> 300

Vulkan Hammer

  • SP2 = 150 -> 350 AoE Radius

  • Provide more tank/smasher options for low power players


Bugonaut Giant

  • SP2 = 150 -> 350 AoE Radius

  • Provide more tank/smasher options for low power players.


Mizu

  • Movespeed = 170 -> 150

  • Atk Range = 150 -> 170

  • Less movespeed so he doesn't pass your tanks, and more range so he can stay behind them more easily.

Oceana

  • Atk Range = 410 -> 480

  • Crit Rate = 10 -> 20%

  • Mid game option - lacks the range and damage to be used currently.

Pirato

  • Atk Range = 408 -> 420

  • Increasing the user friendliness of the hero, as it is too difficult to build relative to its strength.

Rufus

  • Atk Range = 430 -> 480

  • Mid game option - lacks the range to be used currently.


Clawdette

  • Atk Range = 160 -> 175

  • Taking too much AoE damage, and too difficult to build with her current range.

Hooky

  • SP2 = 150/170/190/210/230/250 -> 200/230/260/290/320/350

  • Pull Distance SP4 = 3/6/9/12% Range -> Gunner's Range

  • The pull effect currently requires several pulls to truly put heroes at large risk, and the hero hits relatively slowly. The hero synergizes with AoE Gunners, thus a Gunner specific aura would fit better.

Krouki

  • Crit Rate = 10 -> 15%

  • Increased crit rate as Krouki is one of few single target options for Earth, which is lacking single target damage currently.

Misty

  • Atk Range = 395 -> 410

  • Increasing the user friendliness of the hero, as it is too difficult to build relative to its strength.

Tellus

  • Movespeed = 100 -> 140

  • Movespeed increased as the hero is currently too slow for a Group 2 hero.


Angelica

  • SP3 = 1.8/2/2.2/2.4/2.6

  • Scaling SP3 to give hero stars more value

Bungun

  • SP4 = Dodge -> Damage

  • Light lacks damage, and Krunk being the only other group 4 damage aura hurts the element. The Light specific Dodge is too weak.

Monki Roboti

  • Atk Range = 145 -> 165

  • Taking too much AoE damage, and too difficult to build with his current range.

Circe

  • SP2 = Possessed units can no longer crit



Kage

  • Movespeed = 170 -> 150

  • Atk Range = 150 -> 170

  • Less movespeed so he doesn't pass your tanks, and more range so he can stay behind them more easily.

Neko

  • Atk Range = 155 -> 175

  • Taking too much AoE damage, and too difficult to build with her current range.



A few additional notes: Q: Why exclude Samurai in the changes? A: Since they have speed team potential for PvP, and can be used for staging, the higher movespeed and lower range are best left the way they currently are. Q: Why give Vulkan Hammer and Bugonaut Giant 350 AoE Radius? A: Early game you are limited by your resources, and would have to decide between Spike, Skeleton Giant, Bugonaut Giant and Vulkan Hammer. Players will want to pacify these heroes eventually and move onto mid-late game options. This simply gives them more options, and more variety for the low end meta. Additionally HP Aura change will help backline heroes survive better, meaning you're less at risk from AoE smashers.

Q: Necromancer, Ra and Pinky's auras haven't changed. Even though you /4 HP auras. A: Due to them being at the bottom of usage statistics, and the non-element specific auras affecting fewer heroes, and being harder to implement, we made the decision to leave these auras as they currently are.
